RSA Training Course CertificateNT RSA Training Requirements

In NT all persons employed in a licenced premises who are involved in the sale of alcohol are required to attain a Responsible Service of  Alcohol (RSA) Certificate. From 1 May 2009, new employees have one month from commencement of employment to attain this RSA certificate. Training for this certificate is based on the National Unit of Competency SITHFAB009A but may only be delivered by Registered Training Organisations. RSG Training Course CertificateNT RSG Training Requirements

In NT all persons employed in a licenced premises who are involved in the sale or delivery of gambling products are required to hold a current Respsonsible Service of  Gambling (RSG) Certificate. Training for this certificate is based on the National Unit of Competency SITHGAM006A but may only be delivered by Registered Training Organisations. Nationally Recognised Training Logo 120pxNT Food Handler Training Requirements

In NT Food Handlers are not required to undertake any specific training but there is a general obligation under the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) that everyone involved in the production, preparation, handling and transport of food be trained to a level commensurate with their responsibilites. The NT Food Act adopts the national Food Safety Standards, which set down the rules for how food must be handled and how premises and equipment must be maintained to uphold food safety. Most councils recognise completion of SITXOHS001A - Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures as meeting the FSANZ requirements for food handler training.

 Nationally Recognised Training Logo 120pxNT Food Safety Supervisor Training Requirements

In NT, a Food Safety Supervisor must have a Statement of Attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the competencies identified in the table below.
