In Tasmania, as with most states and territories, it is a requirement of the FSANZ that food businesses have a Food Safety Program in place. In most cases this program would be compiled by a Food Safety Supervisor. This person would need to hold a current  Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. The course of training to obtain this certificate can include the Units of Competency SITXOHS002A and SITXFSA001A or SIRRFSA001A. Australian Online College offers the first two units as a package which meets the Food Standards ANZ training requirements..
